Courageous Heart is dedicated to providing individualized care and support to children in foster care referred to us through local foster agencies. Through mentoring, encouragement, and promoting positive values, we strive to foster a sense of humor, appreciation, generosity, community engagement, and the development of their unique gifts and talents.
We organize a wide range of gatherings at popular restaurants such as Round 1 Bowling & Amusement, John’s Incredible Pizza, Chuck E Cheese, Shakey’s Pizza, and many others. These gatherings offer children aged 1 to 15 an opportunity to enjoy feasting, games, face painting, and special performances by beloved cartoon characters, all accompanied by their legal guardians.
For youth between 16 and 22, we arrange meetups at various restaurants, providing them with a supportive environment for feasting, mentorship, encouragement, and engaging in board games or even arcade games at select venues.
Additionally, we coordinate events and cook-offs at parks, inviting all children and youth to participate and have a wonderful time. Our organization also organizes exciting trips to popular destinations such as Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, and Universal Studios.
Alongside our mentoring efforts, we actively engage with the community. We visit senior living facilities, where we bring joy through special artwork created by the children. We also support the homeless by providing nourishing meals, water, groceries, hygiene products, warm blankets, and engaging books to read.
Instilling the principle of giving back is a core value for us. We educate our children and youth about the concept of sowing and reaping, helping them recognize the importance and impact of their lives in making a positive difference in the lives of others.
